Polyethylene and Polypropylene Films
Overview

Polyethylene films are commonly used in medical adhesive applications requiring lightweight materials, flexibility, and reliable adhesion.

These films can provide a barrier against body fluids and bacteria while supporting secure placement and skin-friendly removal depending on the adhesive construction and application requirements.

DermaMed’s polyethylene skin tapes can be used for fluid resistance and device attachment applications. Standard single-coated and double-coated polyethylene film tapes are available alongside material constructions with varying substrate thicknesses, finishes, bond strengths, release times, and adhesive formulations.
